Sci-fi Roman, back to the future.&nbsp;<br /><br />Yep, Suz, Angie is definitely prescient.&nbsp;<br /><br />kellygirl, even two months ago my husband would have had a very hard time on this trip. But at this point, he walked at his usual pace (meaning well ahead of me a lot of the time--he's very type A when he's navigating). And we walked quite a lot, usually four or even up to seven or eight miles a day of walking and climbing steps. You will get there! Be glad you didn't already have a huge trip planned.&nbsp;<br /><br />Vix, you and my mom both love that shot.&nbsp;<br /><br />Claire, in a way it takes a huge amount of pressure off not to be concerned about buying anything. (In the end we did buy tons....but rather than Prada, it was balsamic vinegar, cheese, cookies and stuff for souvenirs,&nbsp;posters, etc.)<br /><br />Haha, and my hubs gained four lbs there and I lost 1.5!&nbsp;<br /><br />Anyway, it's funny that with all the discussion here on slouch, I was never particularly excited about it. But with Pic #9, it suddenly hit me today: oh yeah, those trousers are slouchy and I love that! How had I not noticed? The silhouette is so insouciant and cheeky, and so different from a skinny jean. I think it's a very high-end Italian form of slouch. But really, I am now madly in love with that slouchy trousers/fitted jacket/button-down/sandals formula.&nbsp;<br /><br />Also, I forgot to add that I wished I could have been better set up to take candid shots of well-dressed people, a la Greg. But it's very very difficult, especially with my low-tech phone camera.
