Amazed she could tell you had the wrong size on! Kate, maybe you should do a glove fitting thread (like Mays's awesome bra fitting thread), LOL.

DressLover, here's the address for Al Guanto Perfetto, the glove vendor I mentioned in my posting yesterday: Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 18, Milan.

In Rome, I have bought beautiful gloves from Merola, Via del Corso, 143.

Both of these places sell gorgeous gloves and are such a treat to visit. My first ever visit to Al Guanto Perfetto, the shop assistant immediately told me I was wearing the wrong size glove. She was right. Until then, I never knew there was such a thing as a glove fitting. There is, and I had one there and then. Everything is done with such ceremony.

I also trolled the internet a bit and found a couple of other Roman glove vendors that you might take a look at if you end up in Rome.

Sermoneta, Piazza di Spagna 61, Rome
Alberta Gloves, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 18, Rome

I've never been to either, but having a variety of options is always a good thing.

Now you've got me thinking I should be going back to Italy instead of biking in Amsterdam, like we've been thinking of doing!
