I had to remember that when I started running, since yes, I am a penguin, and I think I look ridic when I run. As a fellow "uncoordinated" person, I say go for it and have fun! I never have to do it again if I don't want to. But it would be nice to broaden my exercise options and it would be a social outlet too, I suppose, if I ended up liking it. </p> <p>I am at my best fitness levels since college. But alas, coordination is not my strong point. I'm not a great dancer myself, and an introvert to boot, so large dance classes stress me out. The most fun I've had dancing was in a small class of four, where even if I did make a fool of myself, there were only a few people to witness it :). It also helps to have that much more attention from the instructor, which helps one learn faster. But yikes, there will only be one other student and two instructors! And the woman was so excited to hear from me and I felt bad about backing out. But I am a ridiculously uncoordinated dancer and in a group of four there's absolutely nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.</p> <p>My hubs would probably call this a shenanigan. It's probably a part of my mid-life crisis. I'm just letting you know so you can see I attempt to have somewhat of a life outside of posting on YLF. Ay carramba! </p>
