Ok, I managed to reproduce this problem using iOS and I have implemented a fix. For now the unsupported emoticons will be removed from the post, but in future we will add full support for emoticons. There's another person in my house that REALLY likes using them.

Gennifyr, do you remember what emoji character you used? Also, what device were you using at the time?

It just did it again and I posted an emoji. Hadn't read this yet. On the main forum it shows my comment as -1.

I think I know what happened here. Some emoji characters were making our database unhappy. I am now stripping those out of the post, so hopefully they won't stop the post from going through. Longer term I will add full support for emoji.

Please let me know if you see this problem again.

Thanks. This has allowed me to narrow down the problem significantly. I have some extra error logging enabled now and hopefully it won't be long before I get to the root cause.

Yup. That first shot is where it loaded to. When I go back to the main page, my post is there but with loading error in it instead of the photo and text.

Thanks Gennifyr. Having an example really helps me to investigate.

Also, is this the post that you were creating at the time? http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....with-denim

Edit: yes, it is. I see your second screenshot.

Just to make sure I understand correctly: you created the whole post as normal, then when you pressed "Submit" the picture ended up in that other post?

That is my photo in someone elses's post.
