I would say I have a smattering of navy, but it is not a core/dominant colour for me at this point. I seem to add just a couple of navy pieces a year, and they are often gear/outerwear. So far I've added one navy piece this year -- a hooded pullover in a super-soft synthetic knit for running/hiking. It was a spontaneous secondhand purchase, so I didn't actually choose the colour. I tend to like navy better than black in synthetic performance fabrics, so I've ended up with quite a lot of navy jackets over the years! Because I wear navy puffers so often for such a big chunk of the year, I could argue that it is a core colour, even though it represents a very small percentage of my overall wardrobe...</p> <p>I've had more navy pants and tops in the past, but it can have a bit too much of a polished/preppy/conservative/uniform vibe depending on the item. Blue denim is a slam-dunk navy item for me.
