I can't get the find to work so here is a link to a Lululemon top I have in a few diff colours ( including a stripe). It covers one's bum, is not body-con ( I cannot and will not wear that kind of top - envious of those who can!) ) and doesn't ride up or " fall up " even when doing a down dog etc. I bought mine a few years ago and while I'm sure this is the same top, mine do not fall off my shoulders . I think I took my usual size at the time, or even sized down. I LOVE this top.

I wear the Swiftly Tech shirt from Lululemon. It comes in waist length and hip length.
https://shop.lululemon.com/en-.....olor=63588

Sometimes, I wear the Define jacket from Lululemon over a tank top and open it when I get hot.

The Zella "ottoman" knits are listed as "sweatshirts" on Nordstrom's site, but they are not lined and I consider them a top. I like these for working out sometimes, because they do not cling, they are not too heavy, and they come in a tunic length which keeps the bum and upper thigh areas covered when wearing leggings.

I also like the Zella quarter zip tops, again it's not lined. For these I go up one size so they do not cling.

I have the Momentum Top that Roberta is referring to. Three of them in fact! They are perfect for my active vinyasa yoga practice I do each morning with my salutation joggers. The top is clingy though.

My suggestion is this one. It's been a winner with clients for the reasons you describe! Size down:

I am a fan of the same tops Roberta recommends.

Also this version of the Grace top, which is called a base layer, but I wear it for yoga: https://www.titlenine.com/p/sh.....00505.html

And there is a raglan sleeve version of the Grace long sleeved top.

I like this Athleta long sleeve top because it has a grippy hem that keeps it in place. It comes in lots of colors and sizes and is currently on sale. My Find didn't seem to take, so here is the link:

I also really like the Title Nine Grace tops and own a couple of them. They are more expensive, but they last forever:

I posted an off topic a few months ago about starting weight training and not liking it. I'm getting better in that regard. But, I'd like to feel better about the exercises done facing a mirror. Shallow, yep, but I think it would help me. I have pants covered okay but tops are proving difficult. I bought some long sleeved T shirts that are okay but they bunch up when I raise my arms and in that regard are kind of annoying.

I'm looking for:

Long sleeved (to keep my skin from touching whatever they clean mats and machines with because of ACD.)

But by whatever magic, the body of the top stays in place when you raise your arms and yet is not super snug fitting. I don't know what that magic is, but I know it is possible.

Low hip length

Lightweight or breathable fabric

Those are the must haves. Great would be some kind of ruching along the sides or something so it can be more flattering even if it is form fitting.

I know I've seen something like this but I can't remember where! The younger, fitter women at the gym wear little racer back tank tops and leggings. None of us older, less fit women do! But I'd still like a step up from a baggy T that rides up. Any suggestions?
