If you are really cold Cuddle Duds or a Smart Wool ( machine washable) u def layer is great. For me these can get too warm. I have one Heat Tech long sleeved under layer (although it looks okay as a top) and a couple of silk tops with long sleeves. Most of the time a silk sleeveless tank is enough. The silk is light weight and adds no bulk. It is also great to psck for a trip just in case the weather is colder than expected. A set makes good travel pajamas that weigh nothing and pack down very small..

Another vote for Uniqlo heattech...they come in different degrees of warmth and i recommend both the “regular” and the extra warm. I wear them daily from Oct- April. I also keep an extra large scarf/shawl handy to throw over my shoulders as needed.

I like Heattech, but love silk. Sometimes synthetics make me a little too hot, or they make me itch (they pull moisture away from the skin). When I wear silk, though, I barely notice I'm wearing an extra layer. This LLBean scoopneck is deep enough to wear with just about any top; the bottoms are quite high waisted -- good for me, but may not work for everyone.

I'd go with a thermal with a lightweight turtleneck over it and maybe layer a cardigan, V-neck sweater or vest over the top ( depending on how cold it gets at your home ).

I can't rave enough about Uniqlo's heattech too. LOTS of underlayer options. Have a browse:

A 3rd vote for Uniqlo’s Heattech base layers. I use their camis as well as the thin long sleeve turtlenecks. Just ordered more of both last night.

Another vote for heattech base layers from uniqlo. I have the mens' Vnecks in a couple of different weights (the regular and extra warm). Both work great under a sweater.

Maybe have a look at Cos. I have a lovely long cardigan from Cos which has no buttons but is thick fabric, so it feels structured. It is easy to slip on and off on calls. I also wrap big scarfs around me when on calls. I also have a kind of structured cardigan with a collar from Jigsaw that I can layer up.

Either works for me.l wear thin thermal layers underneath if I want to look more polished or go for a big cardi over a jumper if lm doing more casual. I am also fond of a blanket scarf tied around my shoulders. The clue is in the name, you get to wear a blanket in the day!

I run cold. Always have, and see no changes coming. In the before times, my go to was to always wear a sweater with blazer as a completer, and take it off on the (rare) times I was too hot. Well, wearing blazers on Zoom are a bit of overkill in the new company, so I'm trying new options.

I have a small set of cardigans, which can work for a layered look, but I think I might do better thinking about an underlayer with sweater and then scarf or jewelry for polish.

I know some of you in colder climates have favorites - suggestions? Especially suggestions for use with v-neck sweaters?
