They were great. Leather soles and all. I used mine for marching band and wore right through the soles.</p> <p>I had the men's version but it sounds like perhaps you had the women's dress oxfords, if they had an actual heel? I remember those looked really sharp on my female ROTC friends. They had a short heel, leather sole, and the best leather that polished up sooo nicely. I could walk for miles in them. They were some type of military dress shoe.&nbsp; Now that I'm way, way out of college, I'm looking for something similar, but just a tiny bit more refined and feminine. </p> <p>I want to wear them with skinny jeans or cropped pants. I'm not to picky on the color, but I would like them to be great quality. I do have a wide toe box, which is pretty limiting.</p> <p>The Miz Mooz from last summer's Nordstrom sale looked awesome, but were way too narrow. Any idea where to search? </p>
