I use the 30 spf Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. I like it very much, but I'm not sure how it works on combo skin. I suggest continuing to purchase in places with a liberal return policy. Good luck!

Like Lyn, I tend to mix my own

My favorite is Neutrogena liquid sunscreen mixed in with Oil of Olay. In the Winter, I use the Neutrogena with BB cream and Oil of Olay. I use those Pito tubes to dispense what I mix together.

Granted, my skin is older, but I was breakout prone until quite recently, so i have always looked for oil-free products. I really like this:

http://www.avalonorganics.com/.....lus-lotion

Plus it smells great. I can't stand chemical- or weird smelling skin products.

I also use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with SPF which I guess is good for a little extra sun protection, as well as sheer coverage and a bit more moisturizing.

My defaults are Purpose and Simple - the light unscented SPF 15 or above ones.

Another one that actually works very well on me as a primer for concealer, isn't at all shiny/oily, is lightweight, stays put, and is super cheap is No-Ad sunscreen spf 15 (or lower I guess). I use the much higher SPF's too when hiking or swimming but they do have more of a 'sunscreen' smell.

They used to carry it in my grocery stores, now I buy it online (it doesn't advertise, which keeps the prices low, but it has a fervent following of users).

I think all of these have Avobenzone.

I like the product Diana mentioned, but like Paula's Choice sheer tint moisturizer with SPF better right now. It does give your face a bit of shine, but if you like the dewy look it's fine. You can put a little powder over oily areas. It's very light coverage but just enough for me.

I like this one.

I use Olay with SPF15 for sensitive skin. It does not contain chemical UVA blockers, one of which (most likely avobenzone or oxybenzone) I am allergic to. This has zinc oxide and octinoxate (a UVB blocker, one of the old ones that I am fine with). No smell and does not feel "sunscreeny", just feels like a regular moisturizer.

ETA: This does not come in a higher SPF version though (the SPF 30 has more chemical sunblocks). 15 is fine for me, but I hardly ever burn (seriously, I can count the number of sunburns I've had in my life on one hand). At the beach, I wear actual sunscreen (I like the Kiss my Face one that E mentions above, actually, since it's entirely physical rather than chemcial blockers).

Funny story actually - at some point a few years ago they changed the formulation to contain some of those dreaded chemical UVA blockers, which not only made it unusable to me because of the allergic reaction but also made it feel gross and smell weird. I switched to the Target generic for a while (which was made similar to the old formulation but didn't feel as nice as the olay) and wrote a strongly worded comment (with some pleading as well) on the Olay website asking to please bring back the old version. Well, apparently SO MANY people complained about it that they switched back to the old formulation and now I am happy again. Moral of the story is - maybe you should complain to Clinique. You never know, if enough people make a fuss they might bring the old one back.

For sunscreen I use Kiss My Face SPF 30, one of the only ones that contains a decent amount of physical sun blocker (zinc oxide in this case) but doesn't break me out. And it's free of the most worrisome chemical sun blocker(oxybenzone). I'd prefer a sunscreen entirely reliant on zinc oxide & titanium dioxide, and do use such a formulation for my body, but my facial pores disagree. ;) I used to have oily skin, so wearing that was moisturiser enough (I wash with olive oil soap, also from Kiss My Face, so my skin never feels dried out). Now I'm on acne meds that work, though, my skin has become 'normal', and since I didn't use sunscreen as much all winter, I'm going to try some organic argan oil as a moisturiser. I'll let you know how that goes!

(Sorry my answer is only helpful if you're happy using sunscreen as a moisturiser! But I spent so long looking for one that wouldn't break me out, I thought I'd pass along the tip.)

After having issues with atopic dermatitis and perioral dermatitis using tinted moisturizers, I switched to Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Lotion (spf 15) and have less skin trouble. I missed having anti aging properties, but maybe those were exactly what was exacerbating my issues.

Should this be off topic? If so, I apologize.

Long story: After using my new pot of Clinique Superdefense for a few days I noticed that my skin was not behaving as well as usual. I also noticed that the product had a different smell and consistency. I thought that perhaps I had gotten a bad batch, but a quick google search reveals that it has been reformulated. Zut! Back to Sephora it goes.

Short Story: Can anyone recommend a moisturizer with SPF for combination skin?
