Thanks Angie!
My post is from nearly a year ago. When I saw it reappear in the forum, I wondered who I might have been thinking of. I still can’t figure it out. But when I do, I’ll have the post!

Are you sure the article you remember was written by Angie? I ask because when I recently rose a similar question, Angie replied that this "styling tool" was new to her. (https://youlookfab.com/2018/04.....ng-regimen)

Later, I realized that the articles I remembered (about how i.e. the texture of your hair and your skin will affect which textures will be best for your clothing) had been written by others, for instance Imogen at insideoutstyleblog.com. A couple of examples:
https://insideoutstyleblog.com.....brics.html
https://insideoutstyleblog.com.....shine.html
(You can probably find more articles about how your hair style influences your clothing style, by using the search function at that website.)

Berlin-based stylist Lisa Pippus also wrote some interesting articles on this subject, in her wonderful blog styleisalanguage.com. However, the format of that blog has changed, and I am not able to find exact articles on this subject now. Generally, though, several of her blog posts highlight the strong and harmonious effect of somehow repeating your physical features in your choice of clothes and accessories. Food for thought.

Like you and others, I have experienced that sadly, the search function here at YLF does not work properly. Hopefully, Angie / Inge / Greg reads this and will try to improve that function.

I agree with Kathie. The search functionality has changed some in the last few years, so now I do what Kathie does and have better success.

FashIntern, I tried to find the blog post, but without much luck as well. That said, when I'm trying to find articles on the site I use Google, typing "youlookfab" and my search terms into the search bar. For some reason, the search function on the site doesn't work very well for me, but I can find lots of great information with this other method.

A friend is considering dying her hair. It would be a big change. I thought I remembered a post by Angie that discussed how your hair—style, texture, color—works with what you wear to make your style. When I search for it, with “all time” and “include comment” clicked, all I get is a post about one fashion blogger. Can anyone help me find the article to pass on to her?
