Oh, and here are some inexpensive khakis kinda like the old Gap style. Not familiar with them, though, but they came up in my own khaki search.
http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....#038;ap=14

The NYDJ ponte pants come in trouser cut, too. They have been super duper popular. Definitely the closest to sweatpants that I can think of while still looking dressy.
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ny.....h-personal

I like Halogen Taylor pants (mine are from a couple of years ago so I don't know if they have changed). They are not like sweats but quite comfortable (mine are wide-leg trouser style), I machine-wash them and hang-dry and they don't need ironing after drying, which is a huge plus in my book.

I have a pair (actually two pairs since I duplicated them) of NYDJ ponte pants in black. They are truly as comfortable as sweats and look pretty good also, IMO. They aren't the same ones from Angie's NAS list, I think I bought mine this last spring. I wear mine for work all the time in a business, casual environment. They are the only pair of NYDJ that have ever looked good on me - all the others I have tried on have taken me to frumpville. Definitely worth a shot.

So as I've mentioned, the new job is a lot less dressy and a lot more comfort-oriented than I'd expected. Jeans are not appropriate, but some sort of dressy khakis might be. Does anyone even make pants like the Gap used to have that were wide leg cotton trousers? I don't want to go to frumpville but I am even considering NYDJ ponte pants. The days are long, and I want something as close to sweats as possible while still maintaining some level of fabness. Track pants?
