They don't read elegant or modern, or really corporate either! I get needing the comfort. I've purchased fully 4 pairs of work appropriate flats this year including silver aerosols, quilted tan/gold ballet flats, black ankle strap pointy toed Franco Sartos (which I think would really fit this hole for you) and traditional black comfort ballet flats. Like so many on the forum I have in the last couple years really shifted to flatter shoes - tho I do still wear heels plenty! - and this EMCC is z hard one to fit lower shoes into. They will be replacing a pair of Hassias which were black patents in the Salvatore Ferragamo style with the grossgrain bow. The patent looked dressy even though they were flats.
