Point taken Angie. It was just that you said "sometimes I think" which sounds to me like wondering.
I wanted to say on the other thread (but won't, because I don't want to bump it when you have closed it) that one of the things I appreciate on your blog is how many more things you have told me I can wear then I thought before. I think I can "get away" with a lot more than I previously thought. (Just sometimes I have moments of self doubt and think I am just being a fraud)

I love how you can look at a style and see if it is likely to suit someone before they put it on (not always, I know, but often) I am trying to learn this from you.

I think its great, Angie, that you are right between two of your own categories. It shows how body typing is just a place to start.

I wouldn’t say that “I wonder” Anne :0). I’m slap bang inbetween two of my own body type categories and probably an “I” in Imogen’s book. I have been like this forever. The semantics of it really doesn’t matter though, because through lots of trial and error, I know which silhouettes Iook best and that’s the crux.

Angie - interesting that you wonder about your body type too! (You do look more rectangly in the shapeless tops I think)

Spot on, Maya. Rectangles do wear shapeless garments best – I can personally vouch for it. (Sometimes I think I’m more of a rectangle than a straight hour glass. Sort of slap bang in between). I’m rambling. Back to Kyle.

I think you’ll wear both items well my dear Kyle, especially with your height. It’s amazing how Kyle’s statuesque body type has changed over the last 6 months. She has gone from rectangle with pear tendencies to 100% rectangle after eating MORE food and losing weight. People who say that your body type will never change need to come check out what’s physically happening on this site!

I like the first one more too. I actually think rectangles wear "shapeless" styles like trapeze dresses and jackets the best.

I'm a fan of the boyfriend blazer but something about that particular one doesn't appeal to me. I can't place what it is.

I'm no expert, but I think the first one would work better as it has a more defined shape.

I'm looking for a versatile jacket to pop on with jeans or skirts and graphic tees.

Can a rectangle get away with something like this...or is it too boxy?
http://www1.bloomingdales.com/.....oductImage

What about this one? Is it too shapeless for someone who lacks a defined waist?
