I need to be sure that I can find a way to integrate it into my style in a way that will feel authentic--that is to say that I will be wearing the necklace and not the other way around. Turning this over in my mind along with all your helpful comments has convinced me 1 is the way to go. If I may be so bold, I actually feel like working a look like this that is slightly outside of my comfort zone but very attractive to me is part of my advancement to the next level of fabness.</p> <p>And just because it is late, at least in my time zone, and I am feeling a little gushy, I feel like over the last year things have really come together for me through my participation on the forum and following of the blog (and archives). The first one is much chunkier and shinier, and the second is more delicate and brushed. Logic would dictate the second one suits me better, but I really prefer the first one. Mr. Scarlet thinks the first one is better suited to a rapper or at the very least a more substantially built lady. I would note, though, that if something is too far from his expectation, it just takes awhile for his eye to get used to it. We are just talking costume jewelry, so it's not like it's a huge decision here, BTW.</p> <p>So what do you think, is number 1 too much bling? It is quite gold, shiny, and chunky, but I think it is fun. I would wear it for example peaking out of the white blouse in photo 3, just to add a little spunk to this conservative look.
