I used this a lot last summer over dresses. With my IT shoulders, I made sure the dresses/skirts were a-line or full to compensate for the lighter color. This vest in particular I got at Madewell. It was originally priced in the $80's, but I pounced when it got down to the $60's. Well worth it because it's thin and soft...perfect for my HOT summers! I have a couple that have spaghetti straps or similar and just aren't covered up enough for me for in public. But when I looked around Pinterest for pics of vests over dresses, I mostly just found pics of really young people wearing the look. Granted, most pics on Pinterest are of young people so maybe that's the reason... So is this a decent plan for a 40 yr old MOTG?
