I know it completely shocked me. I really changed body types completely. And I am STILL learning (and not always seeing clearly myself.) It is especially difficult in the shopping. I kept trying on dresses in the style that would have worked in the past. And even BOUGHT a few. But no...they didn't work, something was wrong. I didn't have what they needed. Of course there are still some items that worked before and continue to work. Jackets especially. Higher collars. But many things must be relearned. Ah well. It id very (in)formative for me. I will style it differently and post again. You are right, now I see it, there is a problem with the length, and footwear. See, this is another example of something that would have fitted me with flair in my previous size - maybe because it gave me more volume - but that doesn't work any more for the new me. However, I love the colors on you and I think for them alone this combination is worth working on a bit more. I second the suggestion of shortening and tapering the skirt... then maybe adding some funky scarf they way you know very well. You got me off lurking to say how fabulous you're looking in your latest posts and how this outfit doesn't do you justice BUT . . . if you're into restyling, I'd love to see it shortened and the bottom narrowed below the hip into a sheath shape. Put a 'cheeky' jacket over it (mustard? or shiny black?) instead. Take the over layer and try that over your shiny black pants (and some neutral or black LS top).
