I think you should try on a dark lip gloss. The color will appear more sheer once it's on your lips than in the tube. You and I have similar coloring, and I have a dark burgundy gloss that is very pretty on and not overwhelming at all.</p> <p>Here's an example - it's not the burgundy one, it's a bright red I had on this morning. You can see how the shade changes and becomes more subtle when it's applied.
