You could change the buttons or the pocket flaps to make it different/more current. Black is a hard color to achieve and if I remember right the only thing that takes dye well is natural materials. Especialy with the brown tabs at the front pockets and shoulders. The fit is good and it's in perfect condition. I would like to either get it dyed in black or give it away although I prefer the former because the fit is perfect on jeans and boots and it keeps me warm! </p>
