If I saw you in this jacket, I'd just notice the beautiful fit and how lovely you look. HOWEVER that collar on a black jacket with subtle details that put me in the mind of a denim jacket will depend completely on how you choose to wear the jacket.I love the nipped waist and where the hem hits your hip. Given that black and white are on trend a crisp white button down would look fresh under this jacket. Ralph Lauren featured several black leather jackets there was a retro polish to the entire collection that I would recommend you have a look at before you consider passing on this jacket. I would also recommend lots of color and or pattern under/with this jacket particularly florals to juxtapose the heavy feeling of the color and leather. For me I read it as a little dated BUT do take into account that I have a poison eye for that type of collar on a jacket. I see no issue with the fit so I would ask "do you love it?" If I was wearing it I would be inclined to add a scarf to obscure the collar...but that is just my little 'thing'.
