We returned home from the funeral a short while ago, and the dress was absolutely fine. One family member was wearing a top in a similar pattern, though most of the other female family members were primarily in black sheath dresses and pearls. As is so common at varied events these days there was a little bit of everything, including denim and tees. I am attending a memorial service tomorrow and am going to wear a mustard halogen skirt, white blouse and grey/white striped jacket. it's going to be 99 here tomorrow with high humidity, so dark colors seem just way too oppressive and frankly, depressing. The navy and white ought to be fine, but I wonder about the animal print. I would absolutely wear this to a Sunday Episcopal church service, but for a funeral I'm not so sure. While I do have a dark solid alternative (picture #2 - with pumps though) this dress feels better on. Thanks! P.s #3 is just because I think it is cute - puggie bath time.
