Good call. Frankly I wish there were a way to veto the stuff that pops up when my male colleagues check their yahoo or google accounts from work, although I realize they have no control over it. My husband changed his gender on Yahoo for this reason. Sorry, going OT here.

Looks like we made the right call! :-)

Thanks very much for the input. Having spent most of my life working in a corporate environment I totally understand the desire to NOT have scantily clad VS models appearing on your screen during the weekly meeting.

Too racy. And thank you very much for asking, as I was one of the original complainers. It is hard to believe but there is a big difference between swim suit pictures and underwear pictures (and most people can tell the difference.)

Even if there are billboard size ads out there, and catalogs and print ads in every newspaper and magazine, their existence doesn't say "she's looking at underwear ads right now". Yes, as MaryK says, she looks like she is taking off her clothes. I mean, who stands around, or even models, with their hands on the inside of their garments? In the position that you would use to either put them on or take them off?

Not that I feel I need to defend myself, but seeing this pop up on my screen if my boss (a man younger than I am) would happen to walk by (and we have a lax internet usage policy in general) would make me very uncomfortable. And so I would not look at YLF during work hours if this type ad came up again.

Again, thanks for asking.

I find lingerie and skimpy bikini ads inappropriate for work environments. But in general, I don't find it risque.

I don't mind it for viewing at home, but it would make me uncomfortable viewing it on a computer at work.

(When I'm reading YLF at work, it's on my breaks and on my mobile phone, so ads are a moot point.)

I don't see any difference between this bikini ad and the Old Navy bikini ad running on my screen on this page currently. The pose may be slightly different, but one isn't showing any more than the other, so if what's running now is okay then the VS ad is, too.

I'm with MaryK, it looks like she's about to strip off! I'm not hiding my virgin eyes, but it would make me uncomfortable viewing this ad at work.

The thing about the ad that makes me feel iffy is the way she is holding the bottom panty. It's a bit low for my taste. I'm no prude but heck, she's already in a bikini, how much more racier do they want to get??/

I think it's OK. Her bra and panties just look like a typical string bikini, so in other words she ain't wearing much, but the pose isn't lewd or demeaning. I'm so used to seeing semi-clad women on huge billboards everywhere that I've sort of become desensitized to skin. But sometimes the poses (think American Apparel) are too suggestive.

I find nudity and underwear inoffensive personally but if the previous ads were too spicy for general YLF viewing, then this one is too.

I think this is fine, but ogling shirtless men is practically part of my job description, so I'm not really bothered by very many levels of undress. However, if I worked in a conservative office it might be too much (considered NSFW).

Also, this is really nice of you to check with the forum before doing an ad campaign.

You might remember that we pulled a Victoria Secret campaign a while ago because it was too racy and made people feel uncomfortable when viewing YLF at work.

Today we approved a new Victoria Secret campaign, but vetoed one of the ads because we thought it might cause the same concerns.

I'm curious to know what you think, so I'm uploading the creative.

And it gives me a chance to use the yay or nay polls!

Too racy: Yay
Not too racy: Nay
