And a tiny bit slimmer? I would go with that one. But I also think it would be worth trying the size down to make double sure it doesn't fit, because it does look a tad big on you. Do try them on with the right layers underneath: I always try them on with a jacket layered under - this is a real test. I can't tell you the difference this has made in terms of how I feel about wearing said coat! Really, it has shocked me. I never thought is was possible that I could go about my day not feeling all "bunchy." </p> <p>It is also a mistake to go around swimming in a coat, though. So do make sure that side of things works :)</p> <p>This coat looks a little big on the bust and torso area. Alterations are possible, but they will be expensive because this is a fully lined and tailored coat. It could end up costing as much as the coat. I have a medium weight tee under them both, so there's room for a sweater too. My large (and strong!) upper arms don't want to size down any further. . . but I'm open to alterations where really needed.</p> <p>Sorry about the pic quality -- I took pics yesterday, and thought the blurry was batteries. Today with new batteries, but no sun, they are still blurry :-(</p> <p>Does one outshine the other?
