I've been longing for cold weather for months, and nothing gives me more pleasure right now than touching my autumn bags, wearing long pants and even pulling on my trench coat. The only problem is that now I have to get several things altered and close a couple of other gaps. I started the switch with the kids' clothes. I've done my shoes and found I have a lot of boots, but NO pumps or work shoes that are not boots or peep toe (which I really need) so I turned it into a shopping wishlist. I actually counted on Friday and I have eight new fall items I'm still waiting to wear: leopards pumps, black short boots, brown tall boots, two sweaters, a blouse and two leather jackets (one was a gift and seriously marked down, the other is from NAS).</p> <p>I'm starting a gamenwith myself to count them down. I think next week the weather will bear a long sleeved blouse and the leopard pumps, at least. I tried them all on and put them into at least two outfits before I let them into the closet.<br /> 4) I packed away summer sandals and organized booties. I'm NOT ready for tall boots yet. Bonus purging of shoes that cause my feet distress now - too flat, too tall, too narrow, there were LOTS </p> <p>I wanted to take pics of these outfit creations, but immediately camera battery died, so I made notes on each in categories that work for me: skirt outfits, dress outfits, pants outfits, jeans outfits, dressy outfits.
