To comply with the ebay services you are supposed to clean things, but the sellers get around that in their descriptions with a bit of a wink wink. Anyway, the socks that seemed to go for big money were ones with a story: "I wore these socks for an entire season of playing soccer. I believe they were called "w*e*l*l w*o*r*n" sellers. Not sure if this is still allowed, but a few years ago, there were sellers specializing in us*ed under*garments. I'm not kidding. Buyers could request undergarment style, color, and level of "use" among other things. If any one is bold enough, you can see if this is still allowed. Flash sales on gilt and ruelala are a mixed bag and should be approached with a high degree of caution.</p> <p>I have two totally unworn and still in the packaging La Perla bra/underwear sets that I bought from ruelala in an ill-conceived attempt to spruce up my lingerie drawer. I have tried on the bras (though not the underwear) and it's clear that the sizes are wrong on both (36B on the bras which yielded cup sizes that are too big for me).</p> <p>I am a sporadic Ebay shopper but have never used it to sell--is this the kind of thing that would sell well there or should I cut my losses (and learn my lesson, dammit)??<br /> Alternatively, if anyone on the YLF forum is interested in purchasing, I'm happy to provide pics and additional details. They are gorgeous items, just not right for my body.<br /> I am not looking to turn a profit here but just to recoup all or most of my outlay. And if you know La Perla, you know that the brand is expensive--even at a significant discount, these sets were pricey ($130 for one bra/underwear set and $80 for the other). </p>
