^ Now those were REALLY "boyfriend" (or ex-boyfriend) jeans! If I were to shop DH's side of the closet, I would look like a child dressing up in dad's clothes. DH is 6'8", and even belting wouldn't make his shirts fit me as dresses!

I loved a pair of jeans I took from an old boyfriend that I wore long after he and I were not together.

I've always subscribed to the philosophy that what's his is mine and what's mine is still mine. Go for it.

I was playing with styling some items tonight and I found myself drifting over to my husbands side of the closet. I was looking over his button ups thinking... wow, he has some good pattern here.. next thing I know I'm trying a few of them over camis... The fit wasn't perfect of course but he better watch out .

I remember I used to take his tshirts and stuff all the time back when I might have been prone to wear just jeans and a mens or unisex tshirt with maybe some sneakers.. I have come pretty far away from that in terms of style but the same things take on a whole new look when paired with things I might wear now, more feminine shoes, other well fitting pieces, jewelry....I'm likely the last one to know this =)

Funny as Ive seen others do menswear inspired looks or pieces but I didn't think it was something that would work well for me or that I would like. I worked hard to get away from the jeans and tshirt look, but I think I'm at a place now where I could incorporate some of these things in a more interesting and flattering way and will likely pursue some of that in the near future, I will probably have to get my own things though.. better fitting, and he doesn't share well.
