Which think of as brighter and clearer than this sort of brick red. The online photos show two different shades. The photo from Nordstrom, (where I ordered) looks it has more blue in the red leaning towards a berry, whereas the photo from Bloomingdales is a muddier red.  I think the muddier red would work better with the colors I'm seeing in stores? Oxblood (terrible name), burgundy, wine, maroon, claret, bordeaux etc. All dark red.  catgirl on "Is dark red a specific color?" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/is-dark-red-a-specific-color#post-1347024 Thu, 04 Sep 2014 14:12:17 +0000 catgirl 1347024@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Possibly the dumbest question ever, but are we talking about all the shades of dark red with this trend?  Burgundy, oxblood, maroon, wine?  I ask because I realized that I actually have FOUR pairs of "dark red" shoes: Dr. Marten boots, slip-on oxfords, patent Danskos, and a random pair of Avalon slip-on flats in a shiny croc.  These are all several years old and still used often.  Clearly I do not need to add any footwear in any shade of red, but I am curious - especially since the Pantone shades are SO specific!
