Please recall that the culottes in the straight on bedroom pics (1,2, 3) were deemed unflattering by some -- something about the camera angle, it turns out, because when I showed the culottes from my iphone pics people changed their tune. I doubt I will see much of it where I live, which is largely rural but with a student population mixed in. If it's warm enough for crops here, most people default to sandals (or sneakers). When you only get a few months of sandal time, you try to take maximum advantage. By the time the boots start coming out, all but the bravest will be in full-length pants.
