I had two of the VC skirts from the first year they came out in an L, and wore them a lot. Then 3 years ago I got rid of them and bought two more in an M. I haven't worn them in a long time. My body has changed in the last three years. So just now I tried one on.</p> <p>I thought the waist would be too tight, but it wasn't. It is snug around the thighs and butt. I could wear it with a longer tunic top, or else as a warm weather skirt in the house. In addition to the snug parts, my spider veins and lower leg lumpy stuff has gotten worse, so I don't like to show my legs and I hate pantyhose.&nbsp;</p> <p>I don't like to wear skirts and dresses anymore. Just too complicated. A black one and a floral one. The black one is very much a workhorse for me. In fact, I replaced it with a near identical one from the same brand about 6 months ago. I wear it both casually and to work. I love it because:</p> <p>*It tapers below the knee (which is flattering on a pear shape)<br />*The ruching disguises VPL (which can be an issue with tube skirts)<br />*It feels soft and comfy, like I am wearing gear. I do have woven skirts but they never feel as comfortable to me.</p> <p>I wear mine mostly with boxy, shorter, knitted tops and hip length, fluid, woven tops.</p> <p>I do wear mine with tights in winter (mild here), with bare legs and boots in Spring/Autumn and with sandals sometimes in summer. Admittedly because it is black and clingy it has some summer limitations.
