I tried the Etienne Aigner Chastity as it's advertised and reviewed as a narrow shaft boot but I was swimming in those, worse than in rain boots, and I double checked even if I didn't order the wide calf by accident - nope.<br /> I'm going to have the Ariat York boot altered by my cobbler, they're a bit too wide but I really ideally would want them to be perfectly fitted with nothing thicker than leggings or tights... Anyway, I just bought a pair of Eric Michael Lola boots (all thanks to Tanya!) and they fit pretty well - and the fit is more forgiving since they are slouchy. Other than that I can only commiserate </p>
