I can't find a link to it but she used an old belt of Greg's and wore very casual bootie samdals. I think this dress looks lovely on you, the length is fine. For daytime wear you could maybe layer it with a jumper or cardi, wear it with long boots and more casual accessories. I love it, but it's black. I don't really need a black dress unless there are ways I can change it up enough for daytime. Is it that versatile? If so, any ideas on what to pair it with to make it good for during the day?</p> <p>As you'll notice, it is a few inches above my knee. Is it too short? That should probably have been my first question because versatility won't matter much if it is. I don't have a problem with a shorter hemline, but I know that women of a certain age are typically discouraged from wearing them.
