Yes, I think if done in a summery and casual fabric, you could pull it off.

I like the one with the stripes, it looks like a nice summer dress. I think you can pull this off, provided that the dress is practical and stays put with movement.

I really like 2. The cutouts almost look like a belt. Definitely not tacky or inappropriate. I'm biased in favor of solids so the stripes don't appeal as much but that's a nice look too. You could definitely do this and look great.

I'm particularly fond of this dress for our marathon running MOTG. I think the dress will hang wonderfully on your frame and the cut outs will look interesting rather than risque.

I would however do a little test, when trying on the dress at home pick up your baby a few times and look in the mirror just to make sure it does not twist and rise to show your bra.

#1 definitely more risqué. With your fab figure 2 or 3 should be fine with a topper.

I think 3 looks more appropriate for summer -- just reminds me of people knotting a striped shirt to bare a midriff

Nah; #2 and #3 should be fine In the summer. I don't want you to get frostbite on your tum-tum

Thanks! #1 is just the Pinterest inspiration though. I am not considering that, just liked it for my Pinboard. #2 and 3 are what I considered buying, but am wondering if they are still too much.

I concur, #2 and 3 could work, but I think the colours of #1 scream "evening" to me

#1 yes -- too risque but #2 and #3 could work? I think it will come down to the accessories.

I've had this pin of Rooney Mara in this cutout dress for while, and just absolutely love her in it. I have seen quite a few cutout dresses lately, but most are short, flared skater dresses, and they just seem like they are showing too much for a MOTG or casual look. I'm not fancy and have no where "to go" so a dressy one wouldn't do much for me.

I spotted this Three Dots dress and though, huh, that could almost work for a nice S/S dress! I immediately liked the black one, but even the striped one is growing on me. Still, I think maybe my love of the Pinterest Pin is clouding my judgement. I thought the sleeves and the length might tone down the cutout? What would you think if you saw another mom in one of these dresses?
