Unfortunately I don't think they sell irons in the U.S. The best thing about it is that it comes with a detachable plate that fits over the regular ironing plate. This has the function of protecting delicate fabrics like silk from heat but allowing the iron itself to get hot enough to use steam nevertheless. Best ironing invention ever!
