We expect the eye of the storm to pass by the coast later this evening. Some of the surrounding areas are starting to lose power, but so far so good here. I just heard that 55,000 are without power locally, and my son is getting texts from his friends who have already lost power. I am mostly concerned about the large trees around the house. It's a little frightening to see them sway in the wind. Wow! </p> <p>I've see raccoons, foxes and flying squirrels in around our backyard at night. Our backyard is heavily wooded, with a creek and it's in the middle of town. We are in a state of emergency ( like 8 other states). I am preparing for the storm and my dog starts going crazy, running around the house like those extreme bikers in cages. I go to take him outside and there is a BEAR at my bird feeder !!
