I think he dislikes the utility jackets and he actually said "you need prettier clothes." &nbsp;Whaaat????? I was going for comfort and layers, I did incorporate the burgundy and reds he loves.... Now what? after all this is a big deal to him as he is going to Ireland for the first time and meeting relatives all over the place. &nbsp;I guess that's the the reason for 'pretty" &nbsp; I think I may need to bring him back down to earth that I need warmth and layers and comfortable shoes...He said he would buy me anything to get a better look... So gonna make him come shopping and show me his definition of pretty... Sure hope this doesn't ruin our 23 year marriage, LOL... I'm not sure you could layer much under or over it. A printed scarf adds pattern, color, and warmth and would take up little room. I'd replace the jacket with a basic crewneck cardigan, compact and easily put on or taken off. I like both utility jackets but would take only one.
