I have noticed this on my phone too -- I have to tap on a link 3 times or so before it will execute, or hold down until the popup appears and select "open". I also have noticed that you can't double tap on the text window to zoom out any more.
I think you were seeing a remnant of an earlier bug. Sometimes browsers are too clever for their own good and try to re-use older code instead of loading it fresh. I do things to force a reload when I update the code, but that isn't always successful.

No once I refreshed the page all was fine. I wonder if my phone was having an 'off' few days, I've just tried it out again and all the threads I opened worked fine?

Thanks for reporting this Louise. One question: does the problem ever persist after you refresh the page?

Hi Greg
I've noticed that when viewing the forum on my iPhone on some threads I have to press several times to get the thread to open. Also some of the threads I can't expand. You know when you put your fingers on screen and drag them apart to make the page bigger. It's not on all threads I currently have open Diana's off topic thread on drugstore conditioners and I can't expand it. I refreshed the page and now it's working. It's hit and miss with both issues I've not spotted a pattern. I've got an iPhone 4 and its got the latest software update iOS 6.1.3
