It's integrated with a case so you can set it up so the iPad is standing up a la a laptop setup. When not being used as a stand/keyboard, it functions as a cover for the iPad screen. </p> <p>Unfortunately, my current one just stopped working and I'm about to order a new one (or see if it's still under warranty with Logitech).
