I'm not sure why I don't have a problem repeating pants but I go a long time before top repeats, lol.

I love reading stats like this! I probably wear 'outside' clothes, loungewear, and/or jammies everyday, too. I also probably only repeat tops maybe one other time in a month. Bottoms I'm likely to wear several times a month. Interesting stuff!

I usually wear a totally different outfit every day, but may repeat: shoes, jeans, jacket and defintely repeat jammies throughout the month, lol. I would say there is less than a 50% chance of an item being repeated within a month.

I am impressed! Very interesting.

Although it does seem to me like you have a large wardrobe. Do you wear a totally different outfit ever day, with 50% chance of wearing it again in the 25 days, or am I that bad in math?

Carole, i'm lol and it really isn't as time consuming as you would think. :)

Claire, I had never thought about CPW in the past but now I am going to try tracking that as well. Most of my items are so inexpensive anyway, that I never worried about it, but its interesting to see how low you can get CPW. I think even though you aren't wearing an item all day that it doesn't matter, you are still wearing the item.

Fascinating. I have often wondered if my CPW numbers were skewed because I stay at home and change clothes several times a day. For example, if I wear a dress out, it's not for 8-10 hours, like someone who goes to an office. Things that make you go *hmmmmm*.

I am one of those people that keep a clothing inventory/spreadsheet. Its just fun for me. I have been doing it for over a year and until recently I only tracked the last time I wore an item. Due to the wonderful people here who track outfits I decided to give that a try as well.

I started tracking outfits on April 6. So from the 6th to the 30th is 25 days. In the past I have mentioned that I have a very large, quantity over quality wardrobe, lol, so these numbers may seems really high to some of you. Keep in mind that the numbers include, shoes, outerwear and jammies.

Ok, here we go :)

25 days
117 different items worn for a total of
171 times equals an average of
6.84 pieces a day

Which i think including coats and jammies is pretty normal. Wow, do I sound like a nerd or what, lol, but this is so fun for me.

The least amount of items worn in one day was 4 and the most amount of items worn in one day was 12. I was also unintentionally on SYC and didn't add anything to my wardrobe during April at all.
