With the deep contoured waistband, that would help to minimise the fullness from the pleats, but it could be done with less fullness too&nbsp;and especially in a fabric that drapes well. I've not seen them in person but saw them in a catalog and thought they looked interesting, for those of you exploring the culotte look. I like the tulip hem. I suspect this is just too much pleating and volume for my shape, but if I see them in a store, I'll try them on for grins. Just thought I would share in case anyone else is interested. </p>
