I can't imagine fitting FOUR hands between them! </p> <p>For me, I realized how short waisted I was when I was sharing a fitting room with my friend, who is 2 inches taller than me, and we were trying on the same pair of pants and they were too short on me and too long on her - intrigued, we stood next to each other and realized my waist was a good three inches higher than hers (I do have a long rise too)! Also, BF, who is SEVEN inches taller than me, and I have the same length pants inseam. For me it was one :-).</p> <p>As the patient, I couldn't help laughing when my kid comes up to me with her little speech, "Ma'am? Ma'am, I'm Abigail, I have Wilderness First Aid training, what seems to be the matter?" Neither of them could get even one hand-span between my ribs and hips.</p> <p>I knew I was short-waisted, but what an interesting way to have it confirmed! </p>
