				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've come across these guys before. I find it's always worth glancing under the hood of the marketing machine, just to remind myself what we're up against. For some reason it always reinforces my stubborn determination to wear whatever I damn well please.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Interesting that they describe minimalism as a trend to be marketed, because I've reached much the same conclusion. &#060;p&#062;I feel like there's been a lot of conversations on the forum about the lack of individuality in design lately, and coincidentally this episode of the 99% invisible podcast (from a few months ago) about the biggest trend forecasting company popped up in my queue today. I found it so fascinating especially the part where they have templates for clothing. This might explain why so much fast fashion looks the same. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;If you have 20 minutes I recommend listening to the podcast. It's great (as are all of the episodes actually).
