On one hand, she says you should be wearing the heel you are most comfortable in (based on some combination of measurements), and on the other hand, she says the "comfortable" heel height for you causes bunions, corns, callouses, and other foot problems if you actually dare to walk in it! She says to change into "more comfortable" shoes for walking, which contradicts the entire rest of the article. So what is your comfortable heel height good for? Sitting? When I was able to make the triangle and measure, it said my ideal heel height was over 7 inches. (My feet are shaped like I should constantly be wearing pointe shoes. All of my ballerina friends were always jealous of my feet because of the angle and my super high arches. My boyfriend thinks it is freaky, but when I relax my foot it is almost in a straight line, 180 degree angle with my ankle (as opposed to the 90 degree angle of most people). This was the case my entire life (pre-heels), so I know that the heels didn't cause this.
