Interesting. I've had flannel lined jeans and fleece lined jeans in the past. Something thinner could be nice especially if you're going to wear them out and about and not just for yard work or winter sports.

I have recently seen a couple of references to Joe's Jeans being offered in a thermal fabric for winter. I just went over to their website to look. It's something called Fahrenheit. I can't say I'm in love with the styles but I like the idea of a fabric that is "lightweight ... with state-of-the-art insulation. Carefully engineered hollow-core fibers trap in air to provide exceptional warmth without the weight."

I wonder if anyone has seen or tried these IRL and if they're really like denim. I disposed of my old, warm Eddie Bauer flannel-lined snow shoveling jeans last year because I took too much grief from my family every time I appeared in them. But I would like some warm jeans.
