Ther's a gorgeous cream jacket from Zara that Angie has, which I so wanted to work, but didn't hang right on someone with my particular endowments ;-). And she's probably a lot cooler with that cut.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/inspired-shopping-by-angies-recent-posts#post-1256846 Tue, 20 May 2014 23:12:34 +0000 dashielle (Ann) 1256846@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Long overdue post, and perhaps quite longish&nbsp;because of backlog due to&nbsp;technical difficulties :-(</p> <p>After reading some of Angies' recent blog posts and specifically&nbsp;getting some tips on&nbsp;shopping for toppers, I ventured out into Downtown Seattle armed and determined. &nbsp;Toppers are essential almost all year here, especially as I bus to work and mornings can be quite chilly, especially with the winds coming off the bay and forming wind tunnels in&nbsp;downtown streets.</p> <p>First stop, Loft sale racks.&nbsp;Three jackets for around $100! &nbsp;The Merino Wool Blend jacket in light grey/silver (#1 with white ankle length Loft jeans) and in black (left shot in #2 with my Old Navy boyfriend khakis and H&amp;M lilly tee)&nbsp;were both winners. &nbsp;The navy jersey blazer with striped lining has been a little too heavy to wear, to date, but will post when I get it out.</p> <p>Next up, Anthropologie (#3). &nbsp;I love a wide shawl collar moto, me. &nbsp;They had some in both white and lovely green khaki, but they are hoodies and require mucho tiempo to arrange/drape appropriately. &nbsp;I imagine myself rushing out the door in the morning, flinging it off in frustration due to my inability to get the hood to lie correctly! &nbsp;No buy there...at least not until they go on sale. &nbsp;Speaking of sale, found this (#4 front&nbsp;&amp; 5 back)&nbsp;lovely little navy number that is a combo sweater with stretch panels with a nice smooth cotton lining that gives just a little polish to the collar. &nbsp;Wore it almost every day this week, with a python pencil skirt and fuchsia tee (my silver Ash high tops for commuting) and with a Vince Camuto sleeveless blouse, white Loft boyfriends and <span> Danskos&nbsp;in #6. &nbsp;In #7, I wore it with my ancient J Brand Hoolihan grey cargos, a Two by Vince Camuto blouse and Nine West peep to sling backs. &nbsp;Thought about the nude patent heels, but passed (thoughts?). &nbsp;They are a recent find. &nbsp;Who knew (I&nbsp;didn't), thatPayless has some killer pointy toe pumps with cushy footbeds, decent height AND wide widths, for us high volume feet gals.&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.payless.com/search?q=pumps#prefn1=color&amp;q=pumps&amp;prefv1=Tan">http://www.payless.com/search?.....prefv1=Tan</a>&nbsp;<br />They also have some cute cork soled, patent thongs in black, white, yellow and mint&nbsp;on deep discount for those who don't mind something between their toes.
