Planning ahead , really thinking about what I wanted and needed , and ensuring continuity and cohesion each month makes SO much sense for someone as emotional a shopper as I (me?) . </p> <p>Anyways , I’m planning ahead for July , because there is a pair of shoes I am obsessed with that won’t be available forever and a fall weight coat coming back into stock at one of my fav local shops ( it was such a hit last year and I’ve been kicking myself for not buying ti then ) . I need absolutely nothing for summer , and am already sick of everything I’m seeing at retail , so I’m happy to plan ahead right now for my favourite season . </p> <p>The outfit will be built around these cognac sneakers from Olukai, and this quilted coat from ( I think ) BB Dakota ( 2021 version is more mustardy ) I’d like to find a pattered silk scarf and a cream or orange / rust French terry sweatshirt ( no fleece please ) to round out the look . </p> <p>For August I’m thinking a dark rinse pair of jeans that fit me properly , a navy sweater and navy sneakers - and a mid-weight plaid coat to tie the July and August groups together . &nbsp;The olive green sneakers from BR in finds below have been in my shopping cart for months now, but they are not budging on the price, and I refuse to pay full price for them ($179 Cdn)). If they miraculously get reduced in price, my August outfit will be built around those.</p> <p>I think leaving room for 2 wildcard purchases ( one each month ) is smart for me - I also have a lack of interesting fall statement-y pieces and welcome some new “ going out “ pieces . I think if I can find what I’ve planned for July and August I’ll be well set for fall . </p>
