I have also always had skinny legs and am much older than you. I learned that wide skirts emphasize the thinness of my legs, so prefer pencil or any narrow skirt. Tall boots will add some width but they are hard to find and expensive if they fit narrow calves and ankles. My best pair has a stretchy leather back and was actually made for those with wide calves because the shaft will stretch to fit. I thin they are made by Blondo and are a classic riding boot style. Tell the shoe salemen what you want because they have seen a variety of boots tried on and know their merchandise.<br /> It is easier to find narrow boots with heels or wedges than flat soles. I am over 70 and need flat footwear.. Be proud of your narrow legs. They may be your best feature. Length. I found that skirts and dresses that end at the knee cap are best on me. Longer just seems to draw the eye to the legs. This may be because I am short. Experiment with lengths if you want to wear skirts.<br /> I thought of something else. Fish net stockings. I learned on this blog about micro fishnets. The “net” expands on your leg giving visual curves where you may have none. Light colored tights also add heft to thin legs.<br /> Good luck.
