Case in point: I had to take about 3" off my Club Monaco microchecks just to wear them with HEELS. I would have had to take a lot more off to wear them with flats. Some others who ordered the trousers didn't have to hem them at all. A tall size is my best bet for any heel. For consistency, your inseam measurement should be PPL with very flat flats and bootcuts (since skinnies don't make it to the ground, straight legs usually scrunch, and wide legs are usually worn with a heel.</p> <p>My height is 62" and my inseam is 30.5.</p> <p>I'm curious to see how much of a person's total height is taken up from floor to crotch level, and how much variation there is. My inseam is just about half my total height! This is why I wrote my height in inches rather than feet and inches. Just makes it easier to do a quick calculation.
