They are blue and brown indeed (Angie helped me pick them when I was in Seattle. So they are extra special because each day they remind me of what a magical time I had with all of you wonderful ladies.)<br />Carla - That’s so very sweet.<br />Jane - Thank you! They are actually a very light grey with white soles (and of course I made sure to clean the soles before this special day;-). I hurt my toe a few weeks ago, and still need to wear sneakers if I’ll be walking all day. So hurrah for the sneaker trend and this pair working so well with my bootcut jeans;-)<br />Pirouette - WOW, how incredibly sweet of the shop lady! It’s such a marvelous store, isn’t it. And yes, such a shame that they only ship to Belgium and the Netherlands. We went back next day to get a scarf for my friend’s sister the lady in the shop gave us a scarf each as presents as we were visitors and we told her it was our favourite shop we had found in Amsterdam.
