Crowns, implants, mostly. Now, 5 years later, several of the teeth are falling out and the implant is failing. I went to a top notch dentist at the prime dental building in SF. If I could do it all over, I would just go ahead and get dentures or a partial denture. Especially on the top teeth. The bottom teeth, I can see spending more. If you have more disposable income, sure. I did the work because he was my Dad's dentist. My Dad spent $100,000 on his work (and died 10 years later, you do the math).</p> <p>Based on my experience my brother got a partial denture for his top teeth and is very happy, you absolutely cannot tell he is wearing a denture. I think he spent $5000.</p> <p>But aside from that rant, I am here to support you on SYC Anna, and can't wait to see all of your remixes. Which is good. I found out this week that my father's huge dental reconstruction (implants, crowns, bridges, etc) is going to cost thousands more than initially estimated. I'm going to help him the best I can, but this puts the kibosh on spending for me for the foreseeable future. It'll be tough, but my closet is in good shape, and Seattle has a long wet winter and an even longer cold wet spring. I'm going to try and remix my existing clothes, and shoes. Hope you're not sick of my cream sweater yet because I think you will see A LOT of it. </p>
