I got it for 20 or 30€ from an African stand at a market, but the tag says it was made in India. It’s about 1’x1’, with a flat bottom, full zipper on top, and a slip pocket inside. I’m not upset about the challenge—our weather changed suddenly, in a direction I’m happy about, even though it isn’t the weather for those pieces: no harm, no foul. The injury is a new one to me, so I’m trying to approach it as a learning experience. I had to laugh at the cygnets recently—one ran off and had to be rounded up by one parent while the others all waited incredibly patiently with the other parent. A column of color is a kahle strategy, (and I like dresses and jumpsuits) but if you’re not doing that, you’re going to have a transition at some point, whether at your waist or elsewhere. That top is quite short—part of it has come untucked in the pic at the door. But I hear you that the color of the top doesn’t make the rich support act for the pattern that I was hoping for. I’m definitely going to try other tops with the pants, in other colors (including black and white) and I’d like to try pattern mixes with them too—have to see what I’ve got that could work. I’m curious what you’ll think. On the shape of the pants—they are slimmer than I had realized.
