If I wasn’t a mom and afraid of the torture they would take, I would be wearing them often. Old Navy had a glorious pair of satin wide leg track pants, in a gorgeous warm golden deep green. That was 2 years ago—and they were on clearance. They didn’t fit then and they were impractical satin. I wish I had bought them. They would fit now and be beautiful for church or dressing up for errands. </p> <p>They’re my kind of trend. I bought them in 2014 as what I called my “evening pants”, and think I wore them for the first time at my daughter’s 21st which was held in a marquee in our then empty back yard after clearing for but not yet building our new house. They were my most expensive pants at the time $207 but have had nearly 150 wears. They have sort of been superseded but I keep them as very occasionally they are just the thing. Worn twice last year and once this year so far.<br /> They feel more dressy than usual black pants.
